Fifty-five proposals from around Minnesota will receive $280,000 in seed grants from the Minnesota Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs) in 2010.

Projects range from research and education programs to a solar thermal heating system of a swimming pool in Morris to the energy-efficient rehabbing of five foreclosed homes in Northfield. The grants, for renewable energy and energy efficiency projects, are for up to $11,000.
