Citizens Invited to Learn about Eco-Industrial Park, Solar Power

Beaver Bay, Minnesota – February 20th, 2009 – Are you interested in learning what an eco-industrial park is and the details for one planned for Silver Bay? Would like to hear how Two Harbors High School installed a 2.8kW solar system? The public is invited to participate in these FREE events and learn more.

The Northeast Region Clean Energy Resource Team (CERT) will host the events. People will meet at the Beaver Bay Community Center, and then those that wish to will drive down to Two Harbors.

“This is a great opportunity for people to see how entrepreneurial and environmental businesses can create good jobs right here in our communities,” says Northeast Coordinator Bill Mittlefehldt. “There is really strong clean energy leadership right here in our own backyard, and the business leaders in Silver Bay and the high school in Two Harbors are leading the charge.”
