GONVICK, MN – Wondering how your community can turn a vacant building in town into a thriving, energy efficient community center? Or perhaps you’d like to learn about strategies for saving energy in your current building? Join the Northwest Clean Energy Resource Team (CERT) and Clear Waters Life Center to learn how the communities of Gonvick and Clearbrook have converted their old school buildings into thriving centers that serve the community, while educating the public about energy efficiency and clean energy! The tour will start in Gonvick and continue to neighboring Clearbrook, 4 miles away, to visit Clear Water’s second facility. After the presentation and tours, the Clean Energy Resource Teams will cover additional opportunities for community members to take action. Light refreshments will be provided.
