CERTs Welcomes New Intern: Kristi Loobeek

Kristi Loobeek joins Clean Energy Resource Teams as new CERTs Communications Intern

CERTs is happy to welcome Kristi Loobeek on board as our new Communications Assistant. Kristi helped out at the CERTs 2013 Conference on Feb. 21 at the registration table and in the future will be working on maintaining the CERTs blog, writing press releases, and being a helping hand with all things related to communications.

Kristi is currently a senior at Concordia University, St. Paul. She is a Communication Studies Major and minoring in Environmental Science and Writing. She has a passion for the environment and the clean energy movement, as well as a knack for technology. She is excited about gaining knowledge and experience on the wide variety of projects happening in Minnesota with CERTs as a guide.

Kristi has been a four-year participant on Concordia’s division II soccer team and was captain her senior year. She is also heavily involved with the student-run newspaper on campus. Going from being Production Manager her junior year, she is now the Editor-in-Chief. Being a native Minnesotan, Kristi enjoys spending time at her cabin in Crosslake, Minn. with family and friends.
