Multimodal Transportation Plan Open House

The Department of Transportation is updating their Multimodal Transportation Plan. The Plan will serve as a framework for the family of “modal” plans (freight, transit, rail, highway, bicycle, etc). An open house will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In SW MN, there will be one in Marshall February 15, 2012

Transportation is an area that is affected by energy use (petroleum and bio fuels and other vehicle fuels such as hydrogen, electric and solar, renewable energy (fuels), alternative modes of transportation or access to work (telecommute, bus, walk, bike). This plan will shape the direction the other modal plans are developed – and ultimately your future.
