Win $1,000 in a Student Sustainability Film Festival!

A group called The Media Institute hosts the only nation-wide search for the best student-produced short films about what America’s colleges and communities are doing to create sustainable solutions for environmental concerns. They are proud to host this unique event for the second year.

Once again, they have a great judges’ panel: Curt Ellis (producer, “King Corn”), Matt Martin (editor, “No Impact Man”), Jon Betz (producer, “Queen on the Sun”). There are no entry fees, and the grand prize is $1,000!

Films can be no longer than eight minutes and entries are due on May 14th. Selected films will be shown on Thursday, May 19th at Portland State University.
