Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency (AEOA) is a non-profit Community Action Program (CAP) for the Northeast Minnesota counties of St. Louis, Lake, and Cook. The Agency is governed by a 27-member Board of Directors, representing an equal cross-section of low-income individuals, public officials, and private sector parties. Employing over 365 full- and part-time employees and utilizing more than one thousand volunteers across 12 counties, AEOA is widely recognized as a primary support resource for the region's low-income population.

Starting wage: $23.49/hour

Hours

Monday through Friday; 8am - 4:30pm

Primary Duties

Responsible for day-to-day operations and supervision of the Arrowhead Weather programs, budgets, and staff.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads, trains, schedules, and evaluates program employees
  • Assists with program planning, grant writing, and reporting
  • Interprets program guidelines and adapts department policies as needed to comply
  • Assists with budget development and monitoring of expenditures in accordance with funding source guidelines
  • Performs energy audits and inspections
  • Maintains and manages inventory for programs
  • Assists in setting and monitoring program goals and evaluates outcomes
  • Coordinates and monitors Arrowhead Weather Programs' projects as required by program guidelines
  • Maintains a network of community stakeholders
  • Administers Agency policy and procedures
  • Acts as main Agency contact person for funding source contracts
     
Experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or a combination of education and commensurate experience
  • Contract/project and financial management experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Computer proficient

Needed Attributes:

  • Self-starter with organizational and management skills
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, organization, and documentation skills required
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
