In-person at Minnesota Power Headquarters in Duluth, MN: Building Operator Certification (BOC) is a nationally recognized training and certification program that focuses on energy efficient building operations and preventative maintenance procedures. The Level I training provides building operators with knowledge and skills enhancement in the key activities associated with energy efficient building operations, including HVAC controls, common opportunities for operational improvements and building scoping for energy efficiency. The training includes lectures, discussion, small group exercises, tests and project assignments and will require about 74 hours of time.
