Primary Duties
  • Develop business strategy for securing solar and solar + storage PPAs
  • Execute on the strategy by securing and executing PPA / off-take agreements
  • Lead the business development efforts to grow a significant contracted pipeline
  • Evaluate new markets and execute comprehensive business cases to enhance pipeline growth
  • Lead preparation of RFP responses and bilateral proposals for PPAs and other project opportunities
  • Collaborate with project development, finance, legal, and operations colleagues to secure PPAs
  • Assist the team in preparation of contracts and other documentation required for completing development of solar and storage projects
  • Prepare and deliver applications, proposals, presentations, etc. to external stakeholders such as local government units and electrical utilities
  • Organize, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner to meet project development schedules and budgets and successfully reach construction
  • Demonstrable experience in the industry, specifically with municipal and cooperative utilities and G&T suppliers
  • Proficiency with energy contract/PPA structuring and execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience in a similar role or utilizing a similar Core Proficiencies; experience and knowledge required
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of finance/business concepts
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of and passion for the solar marketplace, technology, and industry
