Congratulations, Melissa!

The Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs) and the Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships (RSDP) at University of Minnesota Extension, are delighted to welcome Melissa Birch to her new position as Rural Energy Development Coordinator and Central CERT Coordinator. Melissa has been with the CERTs team for over four years, and is expanding her role to include assistance to rural businesses and nonprofits statewide, providing technical assistance and connection to clean energy funding opportunities.

Throughout my career, I've been passionate about bringing community, economy, and environment together in ways that create win-win-win opportunities. I am excited to take on this expanded role at CERTs/RSDP.
