$28.96 - $42.67/hourly; $60,468 - $89,094/annually

**Hybrid work environment with potential for significant telework**
To act as a lead worker in the Conservation Improvement Program (CIP), as assigned, and provide technical support for the Energy Regulation and Planning unit on CIP regulatory compliance and technical analysis. This position’s particular focus is on CIP planning matters, which will include review and analysis of CIP filings, coordinating with utilities to quantify and establish energy savings calculations for efficiency technologies, managing state and federal research grants, and other planning matters as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in science, engineering, economics, business, or similar field AND four (4) or more years of experience in utility regulation, energy management, environment, environmental or consumer advocacy, building technologies, energy efficiency and conservation, engineering or similar fields.
OR
Advanced Degree in science, engineering, economics, business, or similar field AND three (3) or more years of experience in utility regulation, energy management, environment, environmental or consumer advocacy, building technologies, energy efficiency and conservation, engineering or similar fields.
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Applicants who meet the above experience requirements will be further evaluated based on the following:
Demonstrated communication skills and detail-orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
Four (4) or more years of relevant experience with the Conservation Improvement Program.
Four (4) or more years of experience working directly with electric and natural gas investor-owned, municipal and rural electric cooperative utilities.
Expertise with complex spreadsheet analysis.
Physical Requirements
Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
