Primary Duties

DESCRIPTION:

Assists in the planning, development, promotion and delivery of Minnesota Power’s customer programs and services including energy conservation, renewable energy, affordability, beneficial electrification or other programs, as assigned. The primary focus of this position is to promote Minnesota Power’s programs and services through multiple channels, identifying new opportunities to engage with customers. Establishes and maintains positive relationships, internally and externally, to promote company goals. Significant level of interpersonal and communication skills required. Effective performance in this position requires a positive, self-motivated team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in development of a customer outreach strategy for all customer programs and services including coordination of marketing and event materials, promotional campaigns, social media content and more.
  • Ensure consistency and coordination of promotions across multiple programs and outreach channels.  
  • Promote the use of digital channels for customer engagement including Minnesota Power’s website, customer portal and other new and existing digital tools and resources.
  • Assist in the delivery of energy conservation programs including verification of program promotional materials in the field and coordination of demonstration events and activities.  
  • Provide information to customers, stakeholders and other company personnel regarding Minnesota Power’s customer programs and services and related company policies and practices to promote programs and services.
  • Establish and maintain key working relationships through partnerships with various state & local and community organizations to ensure effective educational outreach and to promote participation in customer programs and services.
  • Represent Minnesota Power at community events including public speaking engagements.
  • Develop and maintain broad knowledge base related to programs and services, regulations/legislation, technologies, and marketing strategies to meet program goals. 
  • Track program data, budgets, invoices, and other related information to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation, review and presentation of reporting to regulatory agencies.
