Pay Range: $28.31-$35.39

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Primary Duties

Essential Functions

  • Performs accounts payable and accounts receivable duties including invoice organization, coding and entry into
  • software; W-9 production for vendors; capital projects entry; calculation of sales and use tax for payment to the state; production of postage, phone and IT service invoices to various departments and agencies; annual calculation of sales tax paid in error.
  • Develops and implements conservation rebate programs; reviews and approves rebate applications; calculates

commercial energy savings and facilitates associated spreadsheet tracking.

  • Prepares the daily deposit including cash and checks; settlement of credit card batches; performs backup bank deposit when appropriate and necessary.
  • Coordinates and manages the development of energy conservation and load programs; reviews and approves

conservation project requests; monitors program results.

  • Prepares and distributes energy program reports; prepares associated budgets, newsletters, surveys and spreadsheets.
  • Facilitates social media and advertising outreach to customers and the community; maintains department website;

purchases and distributes promotional items; staffs the display booth and various events and programs; provides

customer energy conservation education.

  • Performs customer service duties such as billing assistance; answering phones; payment receipt from customers;

responds to inquiries from customers.

  • Performs various administrative duties including but not limited to correspondence assistance; filing; record retention; maintenance of lists and records; issuing new employee ID's; facilitating service awards.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Experience

Education and Experience

Associates/Technical degree with coursework in accounting, business administration, energy management, communications, marketing, or related field and moderate experience in a technical or energy management environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Bachelor's degree preferred.
