Primary Duties

Hybrid work environment with potential for significant telework.

The primary purpose of this position is to lead the expansion of weatherization assistance and related services to income-eligible households throughout Minnesota through the use of data-driven equitable solutions, resulting in increased resources and innovative project development. 

This position will:

1) Use data and authentic stakeholder engagement to identify inequities within the current program design; and

2) leverage partnerships and pursue additional funding to address inequities and ensure all income-eligible Minnesotans have the opportunity to significantly reduce their energy burden.


Minimum Qualifications

Applicants are encouraged to include in their resume submittal to specifically demonstrate how they meet the following qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Public Policy, Government or related field AND 4 years of professional-level work experience soliciting, developing, or administering innovative equity-based initatives.


Advanced Degree in Business, Public Administration, Public Policy, Government or related field AND 3 years of professional-level work experience soliciting, developing, or administering innovative equity-based initatives.


An equivalent combination of education and/or professional experience (as defined above).

Applicants who meet the above education/experience requirements will be further evaluated based on the following:

Valid MN driver's license (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire)
Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills; 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
Project management skills
Knowledge of and dedication to addressing income, racial, and other inequities in Minnesota
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of varying backgrounds, skill levels, and communication styles both verbally and in writing;
Ability to remain positive and maintain integrity while being flexible and adaptable to a changing policy and program landscape; and
Embodiment of core values of: equity, consistency, clarity, and communication.
Demonstratable ability to lead a diverse, mission-driven team.

Preferred Qualifications
Work experience leading, managing, or coordinating a team
Direct experience working on racial, income, health, or other equity related issues in Minnesota.
Data analytics training or experience.
Experience providing data-informed presentations to diverse audiences.
Experience in grant writing and/or program development.

Physical Requirements
Position involves extended periods of sitting, typing, note-taking, conversing with callers, and the ability to move files/equipment weight up to 15 pounds.
