Event Description

Join the authors of a forthcoming report for a discussion on the opportunities for a Green Bank in Minnesota, and how it could be capitalized through new Federal Legislation for the Clean Energy and Sustainability Accelerator.

Opportunities for a Green Bank in Minnesota include financial products targeted at job retention and creation, expanding access to low- and moderate income communities and decreasing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Recommendations include expanding Commercial PACE offerings to the agricultural sector as farms face increases in bankruptcies, credit enhancement solutions to expand financing to low income communities facing high energy burdens, and leasing solutions to transition transportation from the largest single GHG emitter in the state to electric vehicles.
