May 17, 2022 | 12-1 p.m.
Host
CERTs, University of Minnesota Extension
Event Description

Feeling the pinch of home energy bills? Considering updating or adding air conditioning to your home?

Join CERTs to learn more about your home’s biggest summer energy users, ways to save energy, cooling equipment that can also offset heating needs, and how to access programs and resources for yourself or to share with your neighbors.

Speakers:

Melissa Birch in the Clean Energy Resource Teams Central Region Coordinator. She coordinates all of CERTs work across the Central Region. Melissa authored the CERTs Home Energy Guide suite of resources for renters, landlords, manufactured homes, and single family homes.

Alexis Troschinetz is the Behavioral Science and Evaluation Manager with CERTs at the University of Minnesota’s Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships and Extension. Alexis taps into her engineering background to understand home energy efficiency technologies, as well as infuses behavior change science into CERTs programming.

The University of Minnesota Extension is committed to providing equal opportunity for participation in all programs, services, and activities. Accommodations for persons with disabilities may be requested by contacting Julie Larson at [email protected] two weeks prior to the start of the event. Requests received after this date will be honored whenever possible.
