Primary Duties: 

Assist in the analyzing of business strategy and user needs, document specifications, and translate business objectives into proper system requirement specifications.
Support and test moderately complex information systems and develop adequate error management functionality within assigned applications.
Assist with Quality Assurance and acceptance testing of assigned projects.
Provide test plans, test cases, perform functional testing and ensure proper user acceptance testing.
Take ownership of support activities for assigned applications and ensure secondary resources are defined and are well trained to support the application.
Draft and maintain support documentation, process flows and other documents for applications for which the team is responsible.
Track problems, enhancement requests, and suggestions for assigned applications.
Provide application support after normal business hours as needed.
Proactively maintain an understanding of the business processes.
Assist more-experienced Business Systems Analysts as requested.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.


Basic Qualifications: (required)
Bachelor’s degree (additional years of experience may offset degree requirement)
Up to 2 years business systems analysis experience
Practical experience with MS Office products
Preferred qualifications: (desired)
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business, or related field
Process mapping and systemic thinking experience
General knowledge of system development methodologies
Project management and leadership experience
Experience with MS SharePoint and MS Visio
Experience with point-of-sale systems, including Pinnacle, Epicor and Triple E.
Experience with Cherwell or similar incident and change management platform
Effectively engage with stakeholders across the continuum and at all levels, including IT engineers, analysts and developers, business partners and external contractors and service vendors.
Ability to work with team members and internal and external stakeholders remotely using web conferencing software (e.g., Skype for Business).
