Primary Duties: 

Organization, flexibility, outstanding customer focus and strong communication skills are critical in performing duties which include, but are not limited to:

Assist with day-to-day field work activities, site visits, oversight of subcontractor performance.
Address outages and execute work schedule with subcontractors.
Manage performance of work teams through clear communication of expectations, completion and process improvement.
Communicate regularly with all personnel to ensure satisfaction of internal/external customer requirements.
Analyze plant metrics on an ongoing basis to find anomalies and improve plant performance.
Manage and comply with all company and project environmental, health and safety programs.
Coordinate and maintain project documentation.
Provide technical support to plant operations as may be required.
Provide assistance, as needed, to the Development and Construction teams.
Assist with managing the plant budget and optimizing plant P&L.

Experience: 

Bachelor’s Degree.
Proven ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks.
Proficiency in writing reports using personal computer tools such as Microsoft Office and Mac Applications (Word and/or Pages, Excel and/or Numbers, in particular) and database managements systems.
Unafraid of criticism.
Ability and willingness to climb wind towers up to 300 feet.
Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
Ability and willingness to take initiative, and work without direct supervision
Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Ability and willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.

Strong preference may be given to candidates with the following:

Bachelor’s Degree in a specific engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience and/or knowledge of consulting services and operations contracts.
Experience and/or knowledge with wind or solar renewable energy projects and key performance indicators.
Experience and/or knowledge with electrical system analytics/SCADA systems.
Experience and/or knowledge of civil/mechanical construction work.
Experience and/or knowledge with NERC Compliance.
