Primary Duties

Ever-Green Energy is looking for a team member responsible for developing marketing strategies and manages the execution of marketing and communication projects, visual design, and storytelling in support of promoting Ever-Green Energy and its affiliates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Aligns Ever-Green's marketing, and communications efforts with the strategic vision of the company and it's affiliates.

a) Creates and manages execution of strategic marketing activities that support business development, including increasing the visibility of company, affiliated brands, and leaders.

b) Directs various efforts to develop and distribute marketing and communications materials across all communications channels.

c) Provides oversight of brand development and reputation management.

2.Develops new and creative means to convey our energy services, our value proposition, and client stories to diverse audiences and manage associated editorial plans for digital channels and print materials.

a) Coordinates and produce compelling websites, newsletters, blogs, articles, proposals, briefs, reports, websites, and presentations.

b) Oversees strategy and messaging for social media for Ever-Green and affiliated companies including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other forums as necessary.

3. Supports utility sales, marketing, and business development efforts.

a) Oversees the artistic direction and execution of the visual design and production of materials.

b) Manages projects and improves processes related to communications, marketing, and design.

4. Assists in the development of the annual Marketing budget and controls spending within assigned budget levels.

5. Oversees the Ever-Green Energy LiveWell employee volunteer program and supports the community relations program.

6. Participates in team efforts to have a company presence in community and stakeholder processes, meetings, and events.

7. Participates in the planning and preparation for customer and visitor meetings, special events, trade shows, luncheons, receptions, press events, board meetings, and seminars.

8. Manages branded collateral requests, coordinating visual design and any orders of branded items.

9. Manages visual assets including logos, photo libraries, and stock imagery.

10. Carries out other projects and special assignments as requested.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, environmental or natural sciences, or related field and at least eight years of experience in marketing and communications; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Demonstrated success required in advancing B2B marketing strategies, developing visual design, and driving market growth.
  • Highly organized; detail-oriented; flexible and adaptable; project and process management; keen analytical abilities; problem-solving; excellent oral, written, and technical communication capabilities; expertise in Microsoft Office; collaborative team player; ability to manage the creative process and develop communication strategies; ability to work well with internal and external customers; strong conceptual thinker and problem solver with experience looking at issues and problems from the customer’s point of view.
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other drawing and photo editing software.
  • Experience collaborating with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a highly-matrixed environment and receive direction from multiple sources.

Preferred requirements:

  • At least one-year experience working in an energy, engineering, scientific, or technical environment.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
