Organization Summary

Project Managers are an integral part of the Good Steward Consulting service delivery model. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and executing communication and outreach strategies for renewable energy projects -from beginning to end. Each project’s scope can vary from single pieces of collateral and event coordination, to multifaceted, multichannel marketing/outreach campaigns. Project Managers work together with our Assistant Project Managers and Local Representatives to deliver best-in-class service.

Primary Duties
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Plan and implement outreach plans
  • Define tasks and required resources
  • Manage budget
  • Allocate project resources
  • Create communication schedule and project communication timeline
  • Track deliverables
  • Support and direct team members
  • Lead quality assurance
  • Monitor and report on project progress
  • Present reports on progress, as well as problems and solutions, directly to clients
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Evaluate and assess strategies in use
  • 10+ years of career experience
  • B.S. in a business-related,agriculture-related, or energy-related field of study; marketing, communications,or public relations degree preferred
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Expert organizational skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of project management processes, workflow and terminology
  • Ability to function well in a fast paced (sometimes chaotic) environment under tight deadlines
  • Customer-service driven attitude
  • Ability to travel (valid driver’s license with a clean driving record)
