We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Rate Analyst team.  You will play an active role with providing consulting services to our member utilities.  MRES completes electric and water rate studies that include financial projections, cost of service analysis, rate comparisons and benchmarking, and retail rate design.

Experience

Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, engineering, or a closely related field.  At least two years of experience in financial analysis is preferred.  Candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate technical issues.  This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities through data set analysis.  Travel up to 10 percent of the time, mostly comprised of day trips along with occasional evenings and overnight stays.
