- This is a full-time, exempt salaried position with an expected annual base salary of $70,000 - $90,000 (DOQ) - first year total earnings projection of $100,000
- Expected annual commissions/incentives totaling $30,000 - $60,000
- Eligible for quarterly sales incentives based on sales goals/goal completion

At All Energy Sales, the sales team is the engine that drives the consumer reach of our solar solutions. We’re seeking a qualified sales manager who can help keep this engine running with their own sales skills as well as leadership of a team of driven sales consultants. The ideal sales manager has deep experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. We’re looking for a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills — someone with a successful track record who can inspire the same performance in others. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and an ability to coach, advise, motivate, or replace sales consultants while building and maintaining a high-performance team.
Duties
- Develop and maintain close relationships with sales consultants.
- Recognize and recommend product and service opportunities and/or improvements.
- Participate and recommend educational and career development opportunities.
- Assist with resolving customer complaints and service issues.
- Partner with internal departments to manage schedules, territories, and performance of sales team members.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Partner with HR in the discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Provides leadership and motivation to the sales team to ensure goals are met.
- Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
- Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
- Assigns territories or areas for sales consultants and sets sales goals for sales teams and achieves company objectives by planning thoroughly, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts.
- Train and advise sales team in consulting with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop sales goals and strategies.
- Monitor and approve invoices and expenses and partners with Finance and Accounting regarding sales commission/incentive/bonus reconciliation.
- Positively represent the company at a variety of industry and consumer facing events.
- Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address the needs of our consumer.
- Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they're using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives and satisfy customer needs.
- 1:1 coaching of sales consultants through ride-alongs, role-playing, assessment, and defining SMART goals.
- Support and evolve the company’s current sales training program with personalized insight.
- Set learning and development objectives for the sales team.
- Motivate sales consultants to achieve goals.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Five (5) + years of sales experience.
- Successful history as a Sales Manager with a proven track record of sales leadership experience.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
- Experience in multiple software platforms including Google Suite, CRM, and ERP systems.
- Familiarity and or desire to work within the renewable energy industry.
- In-depth understanding of the sales administration process.
- Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal and team management skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
- Positive and problem-solving attitude.
- Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed.
- Availability to travel as needed.
