Renewable Energy Sales Engineer

used Caterpillar and other makes of equipment.

40 hours per week.
Seek out prospective customers and provides proposals for Hybrid Energy Solutions equipment including Solar and Battery Energy Storage.
Respond to current customer requests for Hybrid Energy Solutions equipment
Analyze engineering specifications to quote equipment that will meet the project requirements
Analyze Hybrid Energy Solutions sales opportunities in the territory and systematically targets business opportunities
Document the project and component specifications required by individual customers
Document sales quotations for customers using standard Ziegler formatting
Support other Sales Engineers as well as customers by providing technical information, literature, schematics and wiring diagrams
Learn about CAT and competitive products in order to offer the best solutions based on customer interests and concerns
Quote and close sales transactions within assigned authority parameters, completing all required sales documentation
Coordinate the activities of support divisions within Ziegler and Caterpillar to manage product field service and product quality issues
Bachelor's degree required
2+ years of technical sales experience

Strong mechanical aptitude
Clean driving record
Working knowledge of internal combustion engine installations and drive trains
Solar, Battery Energy Storage, Electric Power, Electrician or Generator, or experience desired
