Event Description
Energy efficiency equipment upgrades are a key opportunity for rural grocery stores to decrease their cost of operation by conserving energy and lowering bills. The Good Food Access Fund, Renewable Energy for America Program, and the Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTS) all have grant funding available to help grocers defer their up-front costs.
The University of Minnesota Extension Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships will host two grant writing workshops online to help rural grocers navigate and demystify the grant writing process for energy efficiency upgrades.
