Primary Duties

We’re looking for a Senior Industrial Services Engineer at our headquarters in Fergus Falls. Join our more than 780 dedicated employees! You’ll work closely with commercial and industrial customers in a key account role, as well as residential customers and trade allies, to implement demand-side management programs (energy efficiency and demand response), beneficial electrification technologies, and electric rate schedules, and manage other customer service needs. You’ll also analyze, develop, and refine procedures for estimating heat loss, heat gains, and energy savings, demand and energy analysis, billing impact, cost of operation, and load and revenue forecasting.

Experience

For this role, we prefer a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering and/or a minimum of five years of commercial/industrial energy audit experience.  We’re looking for at least five years of experience in engineering, energy management, processing, manufacturing, HVAC, sales, or other technical/electrical/customer service, and CEM, PE, or EIT certification. Strong public relations skills, including the ability to handle controversial situations, contract negotiations, and frequent public speaking, are vital. Must also have exceptional analytical and project management skills to conceive solutions and follow through to bring such solutions to a successful conclusion. Selected candidates will be required to complete a pre-interview assessment.
