Primary Duties

The primary purpose of this position is to provide oversight to the Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) subgrantees through administrative and fiscal monitoring and technical assistance following Department of Energy (DOE) guidelines. 


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science degree in liberal arts, philosophy, business, sociology, accounting, or related;  plus two (2) years' professional experience with compliance monitoring, program or grant management. 


Advanced degree, plus one (1) year or more professional experience with compliance monitoring, program or grant management. 


An equivalent combination of education and experience.


Applicants who meet the above education/experience requirement will be further evaluated based on the following:

One (1) year working with State, Federal, and/or local government funded programs.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Experience communicating/presenting (including in writing) ideas through compliance monitoring, program, or grant management. 


Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of federal financial regulations

Working knowledge or experience working with the Low-Income Weatherization Assistance Program or with low-income housing/or assistance program.

Three (3) or more years program management experience.

One (1) or more years' experience with administration of federal or state-funded programs including applying understanding of policy, regulations, and business requirements.

Training in Education,  Business, Law, or management.

Knowledge of residential efficiency/housing programs.

Experience working with low-income populations.

Lead worker experience
