Salary Range: $25.25 - $37.02 / hourly; $52,722 - $77,297 / annually
M-F 8am-4:30pm
The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) Training Associate helps the Weatherization Assistance Program deliver high impact energy conservation upgrades and build climate resiliency for low-income Minnesota households. This position exists to provide training and technical assistance to MN Weatherization Assistance Program Service Providers. The WAP Training Associate supports Service Providers in obtaining required certifications, responds to policy questions, and facilitates the communication of procedures and announcements to Service Providers along with supporting the execution of a multifaceted year-long training plan.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Public Policy, or related field AND at least two years of professional-level work experience facilitating the delivery of techncial training and/or providing technical assistance.
OR
Advanced Degree in Education (with a focus on adult learning), Business Administration, Project Management, Public Policy, Building Science, or related field AND at least one year of professional-level work experience facilitating the delivery of techncial training and/or providing technical assistance
OR
An equivalent combination of education and/or professional experience (as defined above).
Applicants who meet the above education/experience requirements will be further evaluated based on the following:
- Training, outreach, or communications experience;
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills; and

Solid project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
A combination of any of the following qualifications, while not necessary, are preferred for this position:
- Direct experience providing technical energy efficiency and/or weatherization training and technical assistance;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites;and
- Experience providing technical training presentations to diverse audiences.
