$33.30 - $49.53/hourly; $69,530 - $103,418/annually



Primary Duties

This position exists to plan, direct, and coordinate the day-to-day operations for the Energy Equity Team in the areas of grant management, program implementation and administrative monitoring in order to develop and maintain effective delivery of the Weatherization Assistance Program statewide.  This position works closely with the program supervisor and other coordinators to establish and implement approaches and direct and assign staff and manage ad hoc program contractors engaged in activities to achieve program objectives.

This position is also responsible for program oversight, drafting policies and procedures, and analyzing business and operating procedures to devise most efficient methods of accomplishing work. This position is responsible for maintaining effective communication and coordination with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and partners including the network of Minnesota Weatherization Assistance Program providers.


Minimum Qualifications
Applicants are encouraged to include in their resume submittal to specifically demonstrate how they meet the following qualifications.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Grant Management, or related degree or trades program AND 4 years of professional experience working in program compliance, planning, grant management, or related.


Advanced degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Grant Management, or related program AND 3 years of professional experience working in program compliance, planning, grant management, or related.;


Equivalent combination of post-secondary training, education, and experience. 

Applicants who meet the above experience requirements will be further evaluated based on the following:

Valid MN driver's license (or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire)
Experience with a weatherization assistance program or similar
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of varying backgrounds, skill levels, and communication styles both verbally and in writing;
Ability to remain positive and maintain integrity while being flexible and adaptable to a changing policy and program landscape; and
Embodiment of core monitoring values of: equity, consistency, clarity, and communication.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience interpreting federal, state, or other policies.

Strong academic or professional writing experience.

Work experience leading, managing, or coordinating a team.

Physical Requirements
Position involves extended periods of sitting, typing, note-taking, conversing with callers, and the ability to move files/equipment weighing up to 15 pounds.
