The MPCA is now accepting applications from Minnesota school bus owners and operators for grant funds to help fund new electric school buses.
For-profit, non-profit, and public entities, including state, local, and tribal governments that own or operate 1998-2009 engine model year diesel school buses in Minnesota, are eligible to apply.
The approximately $2.9 million available in grant funds aim to reduce emissions and improve air quality and public health by removing older diesel vehicles from operation and replacing them with all-electric models.

Applications are due August 15, 2023.
