The Solar for Schools grant program was established by the MN State Legislature in 2021. The second of two funding rounds in 2024 opens for readiness assessment applications 7/1-7/31/2024.
Before beginning an application, schools must email [email protected] to obtain a project ID, and then proceed with the notice of intent: school readiness assessment, and if deemed ready to proceed with solar they will be invited to compete a full grant application.
