About Cooperative Energy Futures

At Cooperative Energy Futures (CEF), we believe communities should have the power to shape their own energy future.

As a member-owned cooperative, we're working to expand access to affordable clean energy while ensuring the benefits of the energy transition are shared by everyone—not just those who have traditionally had access. Through community solar, energy efficiency, electrification, and other innovative member-focused programs, we're helping households lower energy costs, strengthen communities, and build long-term community wealth.

We're a mission-driven organization, but we're also builders. We build partnerships. We build trust. We build systems that work. And most importantly, we build opportunities for people and communities to participate in creating a more equitable energy future.
