Find Solar and Small Wind Dealers Near You with our Updated Map, and Take Advantage of Rebates!

To meet the growing demand among Minnesota residents and businesses for solar energy systems, the Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs) has just updated an easy-to-use, interactive map of the known solar installers across Minnesota, with information compiled by the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Office of Energy Security.

“Minnesota has more annual solar energy potential than Houston, Texas, and there are still fantastic rebates available to substantially bring down the costs,” says Joel Haskard, Co-Coordinator of the CERTs program. “People can take advantage of rebate funds that are still available through the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Office of Energy Security for solar hot water and solar air heat systems installed at residences and small businesses.”

Residents and businesses interested in taking advantage of these rebates are encouraged to visit http://installermap.mncerts.org. Once there, they will find the interactive map of solar energy installers and all of the other resources they need to plan and implement their own projects. There is information about all of the available solar energy rebates, suggestions on how to hire a renewable energy installer, technical information about the various technologies, and much more!

“The incentives for solar have never been better, and the solar industry is spurring green job development here in Minnesota and across the country,” says Janet Streff from the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Office of Energy Security. “We are confident that this package of resources will make it easy for folks to find their nearest solar installers and implement a solar energy project on their home or business.”
