Grants to improve school HVAC systems

Minnesota Air Ventilation Pilot Grant Program

The Minnesota Department of Commerce seeks proposals from eligible schools throughout Minnesota for the Minnesota Air Ventilation Pilot Grant Program.

The HVAC Grant Program is designed to improve the health and safety of school communities, and to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from school facilities. Eligible schools include public and charter schools which own their own facilities.

Charlie Schneider presented on the program at a July 10 webinar and is available to answer questions you may have. Email Charlie.

Applications will be accepted through December 31, 2025, or until all funds are committed, whichever occurs first. Late submissions will not be considered.

A Request for Proposal and required forms are available for download on the Department’s website (mn.gov/commerce/business/rfp.jsp).
