Primary Duties: 

Primary duties involve analyzing sites for solar viability. ESV technicians measure, photograph and document array locations, roof obstructions, electrical components on site, building conditions, roof support structures and ground contours (for ground mounted arrays).


-Have a basic understanding of PV

-Be safe and comfortable climbing onto a variety of roofs. This includes setting up and moving a 32’ ladder and assembling safety gear

-Manage his/her time based on a calendar schedule; being punctual and completing paperwork in a timely manner

-Have experience using a variety of hand tools

-Have good communication skills interacting with clients, project managers, and the design team

-Have basic computer skills

-Have construction background

-Use basic math skills to make computations in the field

-Need a clean driving record (no DUIs in last 5 years)
