Like Solar Power? Like Money? Win $1,500 in a Short Video Contest from Environment Minnesota!

Hello all you creative film makers and energy geeks (we know you are out there)! Take a look at this short film contest Putting the Sun to Work for Minnesota from Environment Minnesota.

Environment Minnesota is kicking off their first-ever short film contest: Putting the Sun to Work for Minnesota. The contest started this week on June 1. The videos should be 30 to 120 seconds long, and should include a few specific facts related to solar energy at some point.

Winning entries will be posted on the Environment Minnesota website, and the top three films will appear at a showing attended by members, Minnesotans from around the state, and decision makers. Prizes will be awarded in the following amounts:

  • First Prize: $1,500
  • Second Prize: $750
  • Third Prize: $250
