Solar for Schools round two grant program opens

The Solar for Schools grant program for schools not in Xcel territory is managed by the Minnesota Department of Commerce. The application process consists of three steps:

  1. Obtaining a Project ID from Commerce.
  2. Submitting a Notice of Intent: School Readiness Assessment.
  3. Submitting a Full Grant Application when invited to do so.

Assessments will be accepted Jan. 17 – Feb. 21, 2023.
Full Grant Application will be due May 31, 2023.
