The Solar for Schools grant program for schools not in Xcel territory is managed by the Minnesota Department of Commerce. The application process consists of three steps:
- Obtaining a Project ID from Commerce.
- Submitting a Notice of Intent: School Readiness Assessment.
- Submitting a Full Grant Application when invited to do so.
Assessments will be accepted Jan. 17 – Feb. 21, 2023.
Full Grant Application will be due May 31, 2023.
