Did you know? 4-H stands for "Head, Heart, Hands, and Health.” In southwest Minnesota’s Murray County, not only is 4-H deeply connected to the community, but so is the building that hosts the local 4-H chapter.
Did you know? 4-H stands for "Head, Heart, Hands, and Health.” In southwest Minnesota’s Murray County, not only is 4-H deeply connected to the community, but so is the building that hosts the local 4-H chapter.
Located in Slayton, Minnesota, the Murray County 4-H Building is one of the only spots around that can accommodate a large crowd any time of year. Despite years of dim, noisy lights, the building has remained a high-traffic community hub.
Thanks to a Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs) Seed Grant, the entire Murray County 4-H Building received an LED lighting upgrade! Now the building can truly (and literally) live up to its reputation as a “bright spot” in the community!
