We first met Adam Borut with the Milwaukee-based Eco Hatchery a year ago as he was introducing us to their eco kits; since then Eco Hatchery has come out with Light Bulb Finder, a free iPhone and Android app that makes it easier to find energy-saving light bulbs for your home.
Light Bulb Finder is a free mobile phone application that makes it easy to switch from conventional light bulbs to energy-saving equivalents with the right fit, style and light quality. You can view bulb images, cost, savings, and environmental impact, and also create shopping lists and buy bulbs directly through the app or at local stores.
Adam was at the recent statewide CERTs Conference in St. Cloud and asked our staff to view the application and give feedback on its functionality. We did, and now we’d like to ask the same of you!
