Minnesota’s agricultural output—ranging from grains and oilseeds to biobased products—moves efficiently from inland production regions to international markets via the Great Lakes and the Mississippi River. As global shipping faces pressure to decarbonize, these long-standing logistics connections can become increasingly relevant to the future of low-carbon, renewable maritime fuels. The webinar will also examine the emerging role of agriculture-derived biofuels in maritime applications and why Minnesota is uniquely positioned to lead.
