Apply by Aug. 25th! Home Energy Corps help with efficiency & solar

Know someone looking to kick off their green career by increasing energy efficiency and solar energy across Minnesota? There are incredible opportunities to make an impact through the Home Energy Corps with AmeriCorps! Six organizations across the state are hiring 1-3 members to do this important work starting in September. Applications due August 25, 2021.

The Clean Energy Resource Teams are excited to have helped shape the new Home Energy Corps and to be promoting these opportunities! This new program will engage a team of AmeriCorps members focusing on energy efficiency and solar energy at host sites across Minnesota.

The positions are 40 hours a week from September 13, 2021 through July 30, 2022. As part of the Home Energy Corps, AmeriCorps will provide:

  • A stipend of up to $750 every two weeks
  • Individual health insurance (monthly premium 100% paid)
  • Up to an additional $6,345 for tuition or student loans 

Deadline to apply: In order to begin serving in September, candidates need to apply by August 25, 2021.
