Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and clean energy resources that support individuals and families in aging well in a changing environment. We will encourage you to think about preparedness in a proactive, inclusive, and empowering way.

Nik Allen is the Northeast Coordinator for the University of Minnesota Clean Energy Resource Team (CERT), focusing on residential clean energy across Minnesota. She lives on a small Iron Range farm powered partly by solar thermal technology, home to the Gertrude Elizabeth Allen Nature Preserve—part of less than 1% of land globally owned by women of color.
