Our team has an opening for an individual who is passionate about supporting our clients in taking urgent climate action through a wide range of projects including climate mitigation and resilience/adaptation planning, data collection/analysis, and stakeholder engagement. This position offers an opportunity to use your excellent quantitative analysis, planning, and communication skills to support interesting projects with a meaningful impact. This hybrid working position will be based in our Minneapolis office.

Salary

salary range is $75,000- $86,000 annually

Primary Duties

Work with LHB’s Climate Solutions and Landscape Architecture/Planning Studios on planning and research projects to improve the built environment. Tasks may include:

  • Greenhouse gas inventories
  • Data collection
  • Quantitative analysis
  • Visual communications of data and results
  • Climate action and resilience/adaptation plan development
  • Facilitation of community/stakeholder engagement
  • Written communications and presentations
  • Business development for climate solutions and planning projects
  • Technical guidance for team members
Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, climate, energy, and/or land use planning
  • 8 years of experience in related field
  • American Institute of Certified Planners Certification
  • Upon receipt of an offer of employment, applicants must be able to successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that will include a criminal/civil background check and drug screen, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
