Coon Rapids Solar Celebration

The City of Coon Rapids is proud to announce its first solar installation at two city facilities. Solar panels were installed at Fire Station 3 and the West Water Treatment plant thanks to more than $100,000 in grant funding from the MN Department of Commerce Solar on Public Buildings program. 

The ribbon cutting will take place at 9 a.m., along with a short program, refreshments, and rooftop tours of the installaion.
