Energy Related Repair Program Representative
Lakes and Pines CAC, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization; a charitable, educational, private, non-profit corporation serving the seven county area of: Aitkin, Carlton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs and Pine.
Starting salary $19.35 per hour. Salary range is $19.35 - $24.46 per hour.
The Energy Related Repair Program Representative is responsible for meeting the Agency’s mission as a team member. Under the direction of the Energy Assistance Program Supervisor, this position is responsible for processing application/intake duties and responding to ERR calls during and after hours, including weekends and holidays. Demonstrating flexible and efficient time management as well as being detail-oriented. Lakes and Pines is hiring a Full Time Energy Related Repair Program Representative for our Mora office, hours will be 8:00am-4:30pm. Layoffs may occur based on program needs. The program runs September through May.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Area 1: Program Operations
- Accurately process application and determining participant eligibility for Energy Related Repair Programs.
- Receive and review jobs for all Energy Related Repair Programs
- Prepare and process invoices for the Energy Related Repair Programs.
- Perform the application/intake process, maintaining accuracy, determining the participant’s eligibility and interview, and assisting the participant's eligibility with the Energy Assistance application process as needed.
- Respond to all Energy Assistance-approved participants for the ERR heating emergency calls during and after hours, including weekends and holidays, to dispatch our contractors.
- Responsible for entering all Energy Related Repair Programs events into the E-heat system.
- Must be able to work under periods of demanding workloads due to the seasonal operation of the program
- Maintaining all documents scanned properly in our electronic filing system.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, fax, copier machine, and multi-line phone system.
- Responsible for the Energy Assistance Customer Services desk, including opening mail, greeting participants, email correspondence, scanning, and logging applications as daily assignments.
- Review all work and data entry for accuracy.
- Ability to maintain records, prepare written documents and other materials both hard copies and electronically.
Area 2: Program Compliance
- Must follow the Energy Assistance Program guidelines to include Energy Related Repair Programs.
- Ensure timelines are met for services with Federal/State guidelines, including immediate action to restore households in no-heat/life-threatening situations
- Review invoices for accuracy of work performed and itemized list of labor cost and replacement promptly and according to the Energy Assistance Program Manual.
Area 3: Program Communications
- Proficient in working with contractors, vendors, and other Energy Assistance Services Providers
- Provide assistance to program participants by phone/mail/email to help them complete their application, submit the required documentation and questions and concerns regarding the Energy Assistance Program and Energy Related Repair Programs.
QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent
High School Diploma or equivalent and additional training
Education may be waived with significant job related experience
