General Accountant

- The expected base compensation for this role is $52,000 - $65,000 annually. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

A successful candidate will be responsible for processing and preparing internal financial data to support journal entries, monthly financial statements, variance analyses, reconciliations, and other financial reports. They will also perform financial analysis as needed.
For this role, we require a bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting or associates degree with equivalent work experience. Knowledge of accounting principles, procedures and practices, and advanced skills using Excel, Word and Financial Information Systems is a must. Experience with Oracle Fusion, project accounting, FERC uniform system of accounts is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as high quality customer relation skills with internal and external parties. Attention to detail and accuracy, along with excellent time management skills are essential. Must have the ability to organize work for efficient completion, work independently, and collaborate with others in a joint effort to meet accounting cycle closing dates.
