Event Description

Join us for an engaging discussion on community impact! Our May Lunch & Learn event will focus on how businesses are leveraging the various incentive and rebate programs to positively impact communities.

Prior to the conversation, there will be a networking opportunity to connect with other clean energy professionals, share your own experiences and ideas, and forge new connections. This is a great opportunity to expand your network and gain valuable insights from others in the field.

Robert Blake, from CEEM-member Solar Bear, and Peter Schmitt, from CEEM-member US Solar, will share their experience collaborating with two key communities. Robert is bringing electric vehicle charging to tribal lands as well as electrifying these areas and instilling the value of clean energy into schools. Peter is collaborating with emerging farmers to highlight the financial benefits of agrivoltaics. Zahra Hargens Iliff, from CEEM-member Vessyll, will facilitate the discussion, leaning on her work bringing energy storage solutions to often forgotten commercial and residential consumers.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in a lively discussion on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
