Event Description

Energy-curious? Not sure where to start? This free event is for you.

This event is for residents exploring electrification, anyone considering an air source heat pump, and community members curious about cooperative approaches to solar or bulk purchasing will all find value in the discussion. If you’re energy-curious but not sure where to start, this event is for you.

Attendees will learn:

  • how air source heat pumps (ASHP) work in Minnesota’s climate
  • what to consider before installing
  • how duel-fuel rates work
  • rebates available from utilities
  • information and resources

In addition, a panel of local homeowners who have installed air source heat pumps will share their firsthand experiences. They will discuss what motivated their decision, the installation process, how the systems have performed through Minnesota winters, and what they would recommend to others considering a similar upgrade.

This will be a welcoming, low-pressure environment focused on practical and straightforward information. The goal is to provide clarity, answer questions, and connect neighbors with trusted local and regional resources.

Light refreshments and time for community connection will be provided.

This educational event is free and open to the public. Attendees are welcome to come for part or all of the event.
