Anticipated base salary range: $129,000 - $161,000

Primary Duties

Client Management:

  • Deliver projects aligned with client expectations and maintain strong client relationships.

Planning & Scheduling:

  • Lead project planning, permitting, kickoff, progress, and closeout meetings.
  • Manage project timelines from preconstruction through completion.

Budget & Contracts:

  • Oversee budgeting, cost forecasting, procurement, and materials.
  • Manage contracts, change orders, and ensure compliance with all contractual terms.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Recruit, guide, and manage site personnel and discipline leads.
  • Ensure team adherence to systems, quality checks, and safety protocols.
  • Foster continuous improvement and positive work culture.

Quality, Safety & Environment:

  • Implement and audit QA/QC, Safety (SMS), Environmental (EMS), and Quality (QMS) systems.
  • Ensure training, certifications, and environmental compliance for field staff.

General Duties:

  • Align team goals with company objectives.
  • Provide performance feedback and support employee growth.
  • Attend work consistently and follow all company policies.
  • Support special projects as assigned.
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent work experience (8 years) is required.
  • 5+ years of project management experience is required
  • 4+ years of Solar EPC experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel 75-100% Domestically
  • A valid driver’s license is required

    • Development of processes and procedures
    • Continuous improvement such as Lean, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management
    • Understanding environmental concepts, including permit requirements
    • Interpreting state rules and regulations

    • Contract Management
    • Sub-Contractor, vendor, and materials management
    • Construction drawing review
    • Drawing Quantity Takeoff
    • Engineering management
    • Communication, leading meetings, engaging teams, public speaking, presentations
    • Reporting
    • Writing skills
    • Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, Visio)
    • Scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera 6)
    • Job costing or accounting software
