Do you have an idea to improve sustainability in your community? University of Minnesota Extension Regional Sustainable Development Partnership has several opportunities to support community-university partnerships in 2024. 

Call for Ideas

Residents and organizations are encouraged to submit their sustainability project ideas through the RSDP idea brief application process now open. Please contact the RSDP Executive Director in your region directly to start a conversation.

Empowering Small Minnesota Communities

RSDP is launching a new program, Empowering Small Minnesota Communities, to help small Minnesota communities benefit from federal and state investments. This program is seeking applications from communities keen to collaborate with the University of Minnesota to advance or plan projects that support sustainable economic, social, or transportation infrastructure.

Ideas from diverse populations and those community members and organizations who have not previously partnered with the University are encouraged. 

 

Applications for all resources will be accepted through February 14, 2024. Award decisions will be made in the spring of 2024.
