Minnesota Energy Foundation’s Minnesota Team
Event Description
The Energy Foundation Minnesota team developed a series of six 60-minute, Zoom-based briefings on electric load growth. The briefings are envisioned as a 101-level point-of-entry for those who are looking for an introduction to the topic and deeper dives on five key solutions.
Session 2: Virtual Power Plants - What’s Next for MN
Virtual Power Plants are a smart solution for managing peak electric demand by drawing on distributed generation and storage. Minnesota can join other states in deploying these systems as we work to achieve 100% clean electricity by 2040. This briefing will explore the existing and emerging opportunities to do that.
